Those three performers Chris Kevill, Raymond Moreau and soprano Sonja Gustafson, respectively and the musical comedy players are among the scores of nominees for the fifth edition of The DISH Awards.
Leading the way with 15 nominations in all was Oklahoma!, the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical staged by Musical Theatre Productions at the Palace Theatre this fall.
Next in line is Original Kids Alumni Avenue Q, with 11 noms, and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic secondary school Blood Brothers and Theatre Soup Suddenly Last Summer, with 10 each.
Kevill and Moreau are nominated in the same acting category for Passionfool Theatre revival of the comedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Gustafson is nominated for her performance in Godspell, presented by First St. Andrew United Church.

There is added emotional impact to the 2014 DISH awards. The Jan. 14 event includes a tribute to late London teenager Taylor Nesseth, who tragically died in the summer of 2012 while attending a concert in Toronto.
Her parents, Tim and Jane, will present the Drama Queen Award in Memory of Taylor Nesseth to two winners one for comedy/drama, another for musicals. The award is given for a performance in those genres and comes with a $200 bursary.
Tim Nesseth told QMI Agency that he and Jane have heard a lot about how supportive their daughter was of her friends and thought the award was the perfect way to pay tribute.

Jeans Classics is giving $500 to the Dish Award winner for best musical, and London theatre producer John Iglesias will offer $250 through the Pay it Forward Award to a new company that produced its first show this year. There are 15 of those new companies staging a debut, D said.
The Brickenden Awards join The DISH Awards in celebrating London theatrical excellence. The 12th annual Brickenden Awards gala goes Jan. 27, 2014 at the LPL Wolf Performance Hall.
As long as he involved with The DISH Awards,
D won participate in a comedy or drama on the London stage to avoid a judging conflict.
